Nanlite has introduced the Forza 60CR, an updated version of the Forza 60C LED light, now featuring built-in LumenRadio CRMX for enhanced wireless control. This compact, full-color RGBLAC fixture continues to offer the same high-performance capabilities as its predecessor while adding new professional features. The Forza 60CR maintains its compact design and versatility, making it suitable for both studio and on-location work.
The Forza 60CR is Nanlite’s latest addition to their line of LED lights, building on the success of the Forza 60C, which was released in May 2022. This new version keeps the compact, lightweight design of its predecessor, while adding significant upgrades, notably the integration of LumenRadio CRMX. This feature enhances wireless control capabilities, offering professionals more flexibility and precision when managing lighting setups on set.
In addition to the new wireless control options, the Forza 60CR continues to use Nanlite’s advanced RGBLAC six-color mixing system. This technology provides a broader color spectrum, improved color accuracy, and increased saturation, making it a versatile tool for both filmmakers and photographers. The Forza 60CR also maintains the ultra-wide CCT range of 1800 to 20 000 K, ensuring that it can be adapted to a wide variety of lighting conditions and creative requirements.
Enhanced Wireless Control
The standout feature of the Forza 60CR is its integration of LumenRadio CRMX, a technology known for its reliability in professional lighting environments. This addition allows for seamless wireless control, making it easier to manage multiple lighting setups on set. In addition to LumenRadio CRMX, users can still control the light through various methods, including the on-board interface, the Nanlink App, and DMX/RDM.
Advanced RGBLAC Color Mixing System
The Forza 60CR features Nanlite’s advanced RGBLAC six-color mixing system, which sets it apart from traditional RGBWW fixtures. This system integrates additional Lime, Amber, and Cyan LEDs alongside the standard RGB ones, resulting in a broader and more complete color spectrum. This allows for greater color accuracy and higher saturation, especially in colors beyond the standard RGB range.
Versatile Power and Mounting Options
The Forza 60CR provides flexible power options, including an AC adapter, NP-F batteries, and V-Mount batteries, making it suitable for both studio and on-the-go use. It retains the FM mount from the Forza 60C, allowing compatibility with various lighting modifiers. The included Bowens mount adapter expands its versatility, integrating it into the broader Bowens mount ecosystem for additional creative options.
Compact Design with High Performance
Designed to be both portable and powerful, the Forza 60CR combines a lightweight build with impressive output. Weighing just 1.16 kg, it’s easy to transport and handle, whether you’re in the studio or on location. Despite its compact size, the light delivers 12 810 lux at 1 meter with the included reflector and offers an ultra-wide CCT range from 1800 to 20 000 K. This blend of portability and performance ensures it can meet the demands of various lighting setups.
