The new FC-500C from NANLITE is a powerful 500 W RGB COB LED light designed for a broad range of lighting needs. With a wide color temperature range of 2700 to 7500 K and over 36 000 color options, it caters to various professional lighting needs. The light can be powered by both AC and V-Mount batteries, making it suitable for both studio and on-location shoots.
The FC-500C is the latest addition to NANLITE’s FC series, offering a 500 W RGB COB LED light with remarkable output and flexibility. This high-output, full-color spotlight features a wide CCT range from 2700 to 7500 K and green/magenta shift adjustment, ensuring precise color matching and blending with other light sources. It delivers an impressive 57 050 lux at 1 meter in white light mode and 25 590 lux in green light mode with the included reflector, making it ideal for both video production and photography.
Designed with ease of use in mind, the FC-500C has an intuitive on-board control layout and multiple control options, including a wireless remote, the NANLINK app, and DMX/RDM connectivity for more complex setups. Its lightweight design and robust build quality make it a practical choice for content creators, photographers, and production teams. Additionally, the FC-500C supports both AC power and V-Mount battery operation with the optional FC PowerController, providing flexibility for both studio and on-location shoots.

The FC-500C delivers remarkable output and color accuracy, ideal for professional video production and photography. The wide color temperature range of 2700 to 7500 K, combined with green/magenta shift adjustment of ±150, allows for precise color matching with other light sources on the set. The FC-500C boasts high color accuracy with a CRI of 95, TLCI of 94, and SSI ratings of 84 (3200 K) and 71 (5600 K), ensuring consistent and accurate hues in all lighting conditions.

Offering multiple control options, the FC-500C adapts to various shooting scenarios with ease. It features intuitive built-in controls with a bright, clear display and a straightforward two-knob, two-button layout. For more advanced setups, users can control the light wirelessly via the NANLINK app or with a remote controller. Additionally, the FC-500C supports DMX/RDM connectivity, allowing for precise adjustments in complex lighting setups.
Flexible Power and Portability
NANLITE FC-500C supports both AC power and optional battery operation through the FC PowerController, offering flexibility for studio and on-location shoots. The relatively lightweight design, with the lamp head weighing just slightly short of 4 kg, ensures easy transport and setup. The FC PowerController also serves as a portable battery charger and wired remote controller. Additionally, the FC-500C comes with a form-fitting, shockproof foam carrying case for secure and easy transportation.

Equipped with over 150 gel presets and 15 built-in lighting effects, the FC-500C allows for creative and customizable lighting setups. Users can save their own effects as presets within the NANLINK app for quick access. Featuring a standard Bowens mount and an umbrella mount, it ensures compatibility with a wide range of light modifiers. Efficient cooling is achieved with a large 11 cm fan, operating in four modes (Smart / High Speed / Low Speed / Off) to balance lighting and audio recording needs.
