Hobolite has expanded its range with the new Max series, featuring the 80 W Avant Max and 40 W Mini Max COB LED lights. Both lights offer a bi-color range of 2700 – 6500 K and come with a 99 Wh V-Mount battery for extended use. These retro-inspired lights are designed to combine vintage aesthetics with modern functionality for both photography and video production.

The new Max series from Hobolite brings the Avant Max and Mini Max LED lights to photographers and videographers seeking stylish, versatile and powerful lighting solutions. The Avant Max, an 80 W bi-color LED light, and the Mini Max, a 40 W bi-color LED light, offer a color temperature range of 2700 – 6500 K. These lights, with their retro design inspired by vintage medium format cameras, blend classic aesthetics with modern technology.

Both the Avant Max and Mini Max come with a detachable 99 Wh V-Mount battery for extended use during creative sessions. Featuring a proprietary magnetic mount system, these lights allow for quick attachment of color gels and other modifiers. The Avant Max includes a detachable focusing lens that can increase light intensity up to 3.5 times, while the Mini Max’s adjustable lens boosts brightness by up to five times. Additionally, both models support Bluetooth and NFC for seamless wireless control via a mobile app.

The Avant Max includes a detachable focusing lens that boosts light intensity up to 3.5 times, and the Mini Max comes with an adjustable focusing lens that increases brightness up to five times, making them versatile tools for various lighting needs.

Both lights come equipped with a matching detachable 99 Wh V-Mount battery, ensuring extended use during creative sessions. The battery runtime for the Avant Max is up to 78 minutes at full power, while the Mini Max can run for up to 2.3 hours. Featuring a 65 W USB-C PD port for fast charging and multiple outputs, including D-Tap, dual USB-C, and 12 V, these batteries offer great versatility. Rated IP65 for dust and water resistance, they are compatible with Hobolite’s existing lights such as the Avant 100 W and Pro 300 W. Both lights can also be powered directly via AC power, providing multiple power options for different shooting scenarios.
